The Bach Chorale is inviting experienced choral musicians of all sections to join our ensemble. We present two concerts per season, in the fall and in the spring.
The fall 2026 concert will be on November 1, 2026, at 7:30 pm, at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids. It will feature choral masterworks by Adrian Willaert, Heinrich Schütz, W. A. Mozart, and Johannes Brahms, along with Samuel Barber’s “Agnus Dei”, his choral adaptation of his Adagio for Strings. The program will also include Bach’s Keyboard Concerto in F major, Bach’s Chaconne in D minor, adapted for piano solo by Ferruccio Busoni, and Mozart’s Salzburg Symphony no. 1.
There will be four Tuesday evening rehearsals, starting on October 6, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The location is Central Reformed Church, 10 College Ave NE, Grand Rapids, 49503. Auditions will be held at the end of the first rehearsal.
