Audition

The Bach Chorale is inviting experienced choral musicians of all sections to join our ensemble.

We are currently in the planning phase for our Fall 2025 concert, which will feature the choir in a significant piece of a cappella repertoire as well as a Bach cantata. Stay tuned for more specific information!

We are anticipating about six rehearsals leading up to the dress rehearsal, with a preferred mode of selecting one week night (possibly Tuesday evenings) to generate a sense of consistency. All prospective singers will be asked for a simple audition to determine vocal range, timbre, and reading ability.

Looking a bit farther ahead, we are planning to present J. S. Bach’s “Magnificat” in collaboration with the choir at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in late March 2026.
