The Bach Chorale is inviting experienced choral musicians of all sections to join our ensemble. We present two concerts per season, in the fall and in the spring.
The spring 2026 concert will be on March 15, 2026, at 4:00 pm, at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids. It will feature one of J. S. Bach’s most festive cantatas, Cantata 29, “Wir danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir”, and Francis Poulenc’s “Domine Deus, Agnus Dei”, from the “Gloria.” The program will also include Bach’s Fantasia and Fugue in G minor, Bach’s “Prelude” from the Partita No. 3 in E major for violin solo, and Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings.

There will be five Tuesday evening rehearsals, starting on February 17, 2026, at Central Reformed Church, located at 10 College Ave NE, Grand Rapids 49503. All prospective singers will be asked for a simple audition to determine vocal range, timbre, and reading ability.
